Finders Keepers Losers Weepers: Fashion Designer Edgar Gomez

I recently had the pleasure of meeting one of Dallas’ up and coming fashion designers’, Edgar Gomez. Born and raised in Venezuela, Edgar developed a love for fashion and fabric at a very young age. After moving to Texas at the age of 18, his parents gifted him his first sewing machine which is where it all began! Now 21, Edgar has worked as an apprentice for Kenneth Cole and you may remember him being recognized by The Fashionistas last year at their Young Designers Showcase!

With his April 27th collection launch, Where Wear got a sneak peek of his collection….think Botticelli‘s Primavera painting meets romanticism of silk, pedlum bodices and hand-stitched beading!

Mark you calendar for Edgar’s Launch Party benefiting Creative Arts Center of Dallas on April 27th!
