Hill Country Cool

This past weekend we took to the hills to celebrate Memorial Day in one of the most treasured areas of Texas! The Texas Hill Country not only brings about that small town charm but a laid back popularity that only big city revelers can be envious of!

Check out some of the summer staples and attractions happening around this beautiful area!

Stonewall:

Enjoy the comforts of fresh fruit and daily harvest at this roadside market-Burg’s Corner!

Marble Falls:

Revel in this resort community in the heart of Hill Country for a fun and entertaining weekend on Lake Horseshoe Bay.

What’s cooking good looking? Blue Bonnet Cafe has everything to curb your appetite morning, noon, and night!

Enjoy a diva wine tasting while sipping high quality crafted wines at  Flat Creek Estate Winery.

Fredricksburg:

You can tell we love our vino! Pleasure your palate with a vast array of  Hill Country wineries: Grape Creek Winery, Pedernales Cellars, Messina Hof Winery

Love the outdoors with a little culture, check out the LBJ State Park in Johnson City and Lady Bird Johnson State Park!

Kerrville:

A true Hill Country paradise! Located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country and situated amongst creeks, rugged terrain and the rolling hills of the Guadalupe River Valley. Enjoy favorable dining at two of Kerrville’s best-Mamacita’s and Francisco’s, which was voted one of Texas Monthly’s favorites! I suggest trying their infamous fish tacos and veracruzana nachos! Yum!

Francisco's

Get your big city shopping fix by browsing designer goods at Schreiner Goods, then quench your cocktail thirst at the town’s newest martini bar-Azul Lounge. Got the outdoor musical festival bug? Enjoy the two week long Kerrville Folk Festival! Beat the Texas heat with a go on the river! Grab your besties, a cooler, along with a tube and head on down the Guadalupe River!
