It’s that time of year to dust off your cowboy boots, throw on some bling, and tip your hat in celebration of the 38th Anniversary of the Cattle Baron’s Ball. This yearly celebration kicks off with guns a blazin’ on October 15th at Southfork Ranch with charity going revelers ready for a full on Texas blowout!

Known to be the world’s largest single night fundraiser for cancer research and the American Cancer Society, the Cattle Baron’s Ball is setting the bar high amongst the cultural and historical realms of fellow Texans. Raising nearly $43 million in its past years with an ongoing mission to find a cure  for cancer. With a well to do group of volunteeers they are steadily rocking their fundraising efforts and making a difference in the lives of those struggling with cancer.

This year’s Ball Chairman Jennifer Dix promises not to disappoint!  To kickoff  the festivities were a few pre-celebrations including the Underwriters party held at Eddie Dean’s Ranch, the  Excalibur Reception held on September 19th at Komali, and the memorable opening of the Richard R. and Nancy C. Rogers Media Room at Medical City’s Children’s Hospital.

With a musical line up of country music’s finest  including:  former Hootie and the Blowfish frontman gone country-Darius Rucker (on the Main Stage), Dierks Bentley (on the Live Auction Stage), and Clint Black  (VIP Patron Party), the crowd is sure to stay entertained! Carry on an American Cancer Society tradition by sending birthday wishes to those battling the disease from your own personal favorite musicians!

Live auction items will be on display including a private serenade from Darius Rucker himself, tickets to see the women of Victoria Secret strut their stuff in their annual Fashion Show in NYC, or a luxurious getaway with a stay at the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman!

Looking to take a charitable chance? Get your raffle tickets today! Individual tickets are still available for purchase! Giddy up!
